Here's my photo of last night's lunar eclipse/supermoon fun-time-extravaganza. I'm normally not crazy about these kinds of night sky shots without foreground interest, but this event is rare and the people I showed this to seemed to enjoy it. I sat around on Gibraltar Rock for ~3 hours, peacefully watching the sunset, the clouds going by, and the earth slowly casting its shadow on the moon while listening to old hippies talk about life and young teenagers drinking beers. This photo was taken around 9:55pm, if my camera clock is to be trusted.
