If I recall correctly, this was the first "premediated" photo I ever took. The couple decent ones before this I just kinda showed up at a place and winged it, but this one I was like "ok, where are the awesome places to see in the Tetons at sunset?" It turned out to be just incredible, one of the better sunrises I've seen. Off to the left the entire sky was glowing pink, but I found the mountain range and two colors of sky to be pretty alluring. This ended up forever setting me up for disappointment, since the majority of the time a landscape photographer arrives somewhere there aren't good light or conditions. I got pretty spoiled on my first try - right place, right time!
