Samuel H Boardman State Park (OR)
Here's the first photo I've published from my trip to Oregon. There was rarely a cloud in the sky that week, so I stayed up a little later each night to capture twilight with some stars. Samuel H Boardman is a 12 mile strip of gorgeous coast about as southwest as you can get in Oregon. Like many places in Oregon, it's a place I've been pining to go to for years. Glad I got to see it! I was sitting in this spot for sunset, twilight, and in the morning. It was very tranquil sitting and watching the big waves lap against the rugged coast for a few hours. This 13 second exposure makes the water look very smooth and brings out a lot of the ambient light of twilight on the sea stacks. This one is named after the Black Sabbath song, of course.
