Mount Hood Wilderness (OR)
I am overwhelmed and thrilled about how the gallery opening event went last night! I can't thank enough everyone that showed up and supported me. THANK YOU!! I'm not even sure what to do with my time now that I am finished with that... I guess I'll keep doing this :) If you weren't able to attend, the gallery will be open all of September if you'd like to see it. If my schedule works out I'd be happy to meet up there too.
Anywho, this is another new photo from my trip to Oregon in July, and the last one at my gallery I haven't posted yet. Just to the right of this was the very beautiful and shapely Mt Hood. Mountains and lakes are pretty awesome, but when I saw the fog and the reflection and canoer peacefully floating around before sunrise, the mountain had to wait. Seeing how calm the water and this guy was just gave me a sense of... "things are good how they are... I am ok as I am." A lot of anguish seems to stem from wanting things to be different. Some things simply cannot be changed, so all that can be changed is your perception about them.
Again, thank you so much for the support last night and for all the encouragement over the years for my little hobby!
